Deadly Focus By R C Bridgestock Review By Linda Corby

Very good read, makes a change as an ex horsy detective I have read far too many unrealistic books, but this one was realistic and will grip you from beginning to end. Although not over sensationalized I could not stop reading it. My view worth getting to read.

Nobody Came By Robbie Garner

Nobody Came: The Appalling True Story of Brothers Cruelly Abused in a Jersey Care Home by Robbie Garner

My review

rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is a really heartfelt story, it very strongly tells the story from a child's eye point of view, and is very touching and well worth reading.

I live in Jersey and therefore know the places mentioned in this book, the abuse victims of the Jersey Children s homes are unlikely to see justice as the island is somewhat corrupt, so I am happy to see the author at least get some royalties at the end of the day.
